And so we begin…

Welcome to the first blog post. This will be a look at my real honest life. This journey will have laughs, shed some tears, and we will hopefully walk out of this with an epiphany or two. To be honest, social media brings me down. I wish I was the queen of Twitter or “The Gram”, but I find myself comparing my real life with everyone’s posted life. So not healthy. I only want to post things when I am doing something awesome like traveling out of the country with the perfect filter (#beachlife). However, I don’t live a life where I am traveling all the time and looking like a supermodel as I walk out the gym on the reg. Even when I am traveling or having a great dinner with friends, or maybe even on a date, I want to live in that moment because those are the special moments. If I just posted about those times, it wouldn’t be representative of my whole life.

In real life, I am working, studying (yes I still do that), walking my dog, or watching Friends on the couch while eating pizza. My daily accomplishments of loading the dishwasher or completing laundry don’t seem like Gram-worthy posts. But maybe I should post the picture of the empty sink (#adulting #myreallife)…
